Upon signing the agreement, the first things for The House Designers to do is visit the site and do an analysis against an agreed brief.
Any other relevant information such as planning history or site surveys and constraints will give the designer a good idea what is possible set against these site constraints and clients budget.
It is important that both you, as the Client, and The House Designers are realistic from inception of the project about size and cost to ensure a smooth process up to planning submission.
We often find that a scrapbook made by you is the best way to establish a strong brief and concept. This can become a useful keepsake if used as a diary of the project from start to finish.
